Gun Rights and Doctors with Dr. Sean D Brodale, DO of DRGO

Welcome back to another episode of TacticalPay Radio… our 50th episode to be exact! This week, Brett is joined by Dr. Sean D Brodale to discuss an important topic… the Second Amendment, and gun rights for doctors practicing medicine.

Dr. Brodale is a family practitioner in Iowa and through the organization Doctors for Responsible Gun Ownership (DRGO), advocates for the right to carry in hospitals for eligible medical personnel. At DRGO he is involved in membership and public engagement projects, and had much to say on the subject in a great discussion with Brett.

Industry Spotlight

Doctors for Responsible Gun Ownership (DRGO)

Founded in 1994, Doctors for Responsible Gun Ownership (DRGO) is a nationwide network of 1,400 medical doctors, other health care professionals, scientists, and others who support the safe and lawful use of firearms for any legitimate purpose.

In their own words, “DRGO educates health professionals and the public in the best available science and expertise about firearms, including gun safety and preventing injury and death through wise use and lawful self defense. We teach what science shows—that guns in responsible hands save lives, reduce injuries, and protect property by preventing violent crime.

By providing commentary and scrutiny of policy and medical literature dealing with firearms ownership, use and misuse, DRGO serves as a guard against biased, policy-directed pseudoscience that would hinder gun ownership under the guise of legitimate science.”
